Day one of Coachella has been complete. Let me tell you, it’s hard to put into words what it’s like.
Day one: April 11, 2014. Coachella – The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
I have not been to Day two of the festival and already I am pooped. Call it the new grandma in me, but holy smokes, this festival can take a whoollleee lot out of your energy, not to mention your phone battery energy.
While me and my friends have been going closer to the evening than the day. It’s all worth the $300+ that we paid for the ticket. (Crazy, I know, but everyone should experience Coachella in their 20 somethings at least once in their life and preferably soon)
I say soon because this event is getting bigger and bigger every year, Coachella started back in 1999 with only a two day lineup and now has grown even bigger to three days and have big headliners like Coldplay, Paul McCartney, Jay-Z and this year was Outkast’s Big reunion!
Friday night was Outkast’s big play, filling up the Coachella stage all the way into the back, they made a big scene being their reunion and even had Prince watching on the sides.
While we mostly stayed around the main stage area known as the Coachella Stage, we’ll be doing a lot more venturing during Day two.
Some artist we saw on Day one included: AFI, Ellie Goulding, Chromeo (So fun), Martin Garrix, and Outkast to name a few that played at Coachella on Day One.
I’ll keep you posted on the rest of the days and have some tips and tricks to Coachella as I end it here at the Valley.
Cheers to Coachella with lots of drinking, some people smoking and others who are on a whole other level.
