It’s been quite awhile since I have posted, but I am back and ready to show you the world through my eyes.
In light of what has happened in Paris recently (Je suis Charlie), I want to bring you back to my European trip and back to Paris at the Luxembourg Gardens.
It is one of the more famous gardens in Paris, le Jardín du Luxembourg. It’s this big beautiful park with water fountains, statues and beautiful trees. I was lucky to have been at the Luxembourg Gardens in the fall, so the fall air was hitting the garden just beautifully.
It took us a bit of walking to get to this park; we still hadn’t mastered the metro quite yet in Paris at this point. But when you get lost trying to find your main attraction, you tend to hit some beautiful places that you would’ve never have gone to.
We found two little parks on our way to the Luxembourg Gardens. Because of the rain that we experienced while in Paris, many of the fountains were not spewing out water, but it did dawn us some beautiful statues to look at.
We enjoyed these gardens and sat on benches to take in the beautiful Paris surrounding us.
After a bit more walking, we finally got to the gates of Jardín du Luxembourg. And I’m sure glad I added this place into our itinerary.
The fall was upon Paris and leaves were turning brown, yellow, red, and everything screamed autumn. It was magnificent.
Here are some beautiful photos of the Luxembourg Gardens for your viewing pleasure.
If that doesn’t make you want to see the Luxembourg Gardens in the fall, then I don’t have many words for you.
Cheers

I wish I had gone for a picnic, it was just a little too cloudy and raining when we went. But it was still an amazing place to be at. I loved it so much!

I’ve only been here in the spring – it’s beautiful with all the colors of the fall foliage! It’s amazing how different places can be at different times of the year. I’m always torn between wanting to go somewhere new and wanting to return to somewhere I’ve been for a different experience!
