The First Steps in Creating a Good Blog

How did Lost with Yvonne become the blog it is today? Well to start with, it all came from a single idea that has flourished into what I now have going on.

It hasn’t been easy, let me tell you. And I’m still working hard and learning everything I can to increase my traffic, make better content, and so on and so forth when it comes to blogging.

But I did want to share with all my lovely readers some of the first steps in creating a good blog. Basically, a quick and easy jump start to your blogging career. I’ll be doing a full-blown tutorial on how to start a blog soon, but for now, if you feel the urge to dive right in and start the blog you’ve always wanted to start, then here are my tips on making that dive that you can do today!

How I Challenged Myself to Writing a Novel in a Month – NaNoWriMo – Writer Wednesday

Happy Writer Wednesday! For today’s WW, I wanted to share with you all how I challenged myself to write a novel in month by doing NaNoWriMo.

Yes, I Yvonne from Lost with Yvonne, wrote a whole ass novel in a month. I mean it sounds crazy?

Sometimes I can’t even believe I did it. But here we are. Months after NaNoWriMo and I have this novel I wrote in a month.

A deadline I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to do. But I did!

Like what? This does sound bananas.

Potato Chip Rock – Mt. Woodson Hike – A Local Beginner’s Guide

If you’re from Southern California you know about about the Potato Chip Rock hike in San Diego, Poway to be more exact. It’s a local favorite and one helluva hike up that’s for sure.

I’ve actually hiked up to this ‘Potato Chip Rock’ three times. While I’m by no means an expert, I’d like to think if I’ve hiked this more than once in my life that I can give at least any newcomers a bit of a guide on how to survive this uphill climb of hell to reach that wonderful photo op at the top.

Two Hours in Pisa, Italy

Italy. Honestly one of my favorite countries. It has wonderful food and beautiful cities. As much as I wanted to spend days in each country if I could, all it took was just a few hours in Pisa, Italy and we were all set.

Pisa, if you did not know is where The Leaning Tower of Pisa is. And that’s basically the town.

Garden of the Gods in Colorado

Colorado has been one of my favorite cities to ever visit that I’ve visited multiple times at this point in my life. Over FIVE times to be exact.
